PERSONALISED SLEEP SUPPORT

Responsive sleep support for your family

Sleep challenges can leave families feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. Sarah Wheeler provides gentle infant and child sleep support tailored to your baby, your parenting style and your family’s individual needs.

Sleep is essential for a baby’s and child’s wellbeing, supporting brain development, physical growth, emotional regulation and a healthy immune system. Every child is unique, and understanding their individual sleep needs can help create a positive foundation for both their development and your family’s wellbeing.

With over 35 years of experience supporting babies and families, Sarah offers calm, evidence-based guidance to help with night waking, bedtime struggles, naps, sleep associations and newborn sleep challenges. Consultations are available online throughout the UK and internationally, alongside home visits across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire, Gloucestershire and London.

Sarah's Approach

Sarah believes there is no single “right” way to approach baby sleep. Her approach focuses on understanding your baby as an individual and supporting families with gentle, evidence-based sleep guidance that feels right for both parents and children.

With a background in midwifery, newborn care and infant sleep support, Sarah combines practical experience with compassionate guidance to help families feel more confident and settled.

This is not about rigid sleep training or leaving babies to cry. It’s about creating positive sleep habits, supporting emotional wellbeing and helping families find calm, sustainable solutions that work for them.

Supporting families through sleep challenges

Sleep difficulties can affect the whole family, leaving parents feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. Sarah offers gentle baby and child sleep support tailored to your family’s needs, helping parents feel calm, confident and supported.

Newborn Sleep Support

Frequent waking, unsettled nights and short sleep stretches are completely normal for young babies; however, they can still feel exhausting for parents. Sarah provides newborn sleep support to help families encourage healthy sleep habits from the very beginning.

Frequent night waking can leave both babies and parents overtired and unsettled. Sarah offers gentle, age appropriate sleep guidance to help babies learn to settle and re-settle calmly during the night.

Many parents find bedtime one of the hardest parts of the day, and it can leave everybody feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Sarah helps create calm, positive bedtime routines with healthy sleep associations, making bedtime a happy time for the whole family.

Short naps, skipped naps and inconsistent daytime sleep can impact your baby’s mood and overnight sleep. Sarah provides practical guidance around naps, routines and wake windows tailored to your child’s age and temperament.

Developmental leaps, illness, teething, travel and changes in routine can all affect sleep. Sarah helps parents navigate these transitions with responsive, realistic sleep support.

Gentle sleep guidance tailored to your family

Every baby and every family is different, which is why Sarah takes a calm, responsive and personalised approach to infant sleep support. Rather than following rigid routines or one-size-fits-all methods, Sarah works closely with parents to understand their baby’s temperament, feeding patterns, sleep associations and family dynamics.

At all times Sarah follows the safer sleep for babies recommendations of The Lullaby Trust and The NHS.

Support is designed to feel realistic, sustainable and emotionally supportive, helping families make gentle changes that improve sleep while still responding to their baby’s needs.

TESTIMONIALS

Kind words from the families I’ve supported

Things have improved drastically and we have you to thank! I never thought we would get to where we are now. Big thank you from a very well rested, not sleep deprived family!
T & P, Warminster
Sarah helped with coaching us through the bumps with follow up calls and text messages. It took a few weeks to really see the change but eventually it did and now my baby sleeps through the night.
C & J, Tetbury
Before we went through Sarah’s sleep training, our 20 month old had never slept more than 45 minutes on his own. Now he sleeps 12 hours every night. We can’t believe how quick the turnaround has been.
W & S, Hampshire
Sarah was incredibly understanding and put us at ease really quickly. She was always on hand to answer questions we had about anything and everything!
Claire and James, Winchester
Sarah is calm, experienced and really works to understand your family needs and ensures a solution that will work for you. Sarah allowed us to continue our gentle parenting ways without compromise. We are a much happier family with a baby that sleeps from 7–7! Sarah is quite simply a modern day miracle worker and we would have no hesitation in recommending her.
Linzi, Newbury
This helped us gain the confidence and reassurance we needed to help our baby settle to sleep by himself and make positive associations. Thank you so much Sarah, that made such a positive difference!
D & D, Newbury
We warmed to Sarah on our first meeting and initially booked her for a month in order to help settle our newborn twins into a good night routine.
Hannah and Bambos, Odiham
As a new mum I was concerned about getting my baby into poor sleeping patterns accidentally. Sarah came and spent time with us as a family and formulated a plan which worked for us.
Claire, Thatcham
Sarah’s advice has completely changed our lives. My kids now go to bed easily, sleep through the night and sleep until 6am, often later. I only wish I’d found her earlier.”
Katharine, Devizes
Sarah’s knowledge and experience are second to none. Being a mother of four herself, she is very competent and has a lot of empathy.
Catherine, Swindon
